As a French attorney, Louis Jestaz has more than 10 years’ significant experience in Intellectual Property, both transactional and litigation matters, including trademark, patent, copyright, design and know-how. He also handles commercial litigation (contractual breach and unfair competition) and IT litigation.

 

He assists French and foreign clients in the protection and enforcement of their IP assets.

 

He is particularly recognized for his management of complex and cross-border patent, trademark and copyright litigation.

 

Prior to co-founding Blanche Avocats, Louis Jestaz worked in the Intellectual Property departments of renowned American and French full-practice law firms (Dechert and Aramis). He also practised in the specialized IP Chamber the Paris Court.

 

Louis Jestaz is a member of various professional associations: International Trademark Association (INTA), Association of Trademarks and Design Rights Practitioners (APRAM), International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).

Since 2015, Sarah Madi is an attorney involved in transactional and litigation matters in the areas of Intellectual Property and IT. Her practice covers issues of copyright, trademark, design protection, unfair competition and passing off. She also handles commercial litigation.

 

Sarah Madi advises various French and foreign clients, with a sectoral focus on fashion, luxury, design, media and advertising.

 

Prior to co-founding Blanche Avocats, Sarah Madi gained strong experience in several Anglo-American law firms (Reed Smith and Simmons & Simmons) and renowned companies (Louis Vuitton Malletier).

 

She regularly provides workshops in Intellectual Property for young designers and entrepreneurs.

 

Sarah Madi is a member of various associations: Association of Trademarks and Design Rights Practitioners (APRAM), International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), Contemporary Association.

As a French attorney since 2016, Florent Mattern has developed extensive expertise in all branches of Intellectual Property (trademark, patent, copyright, design, etc.), both transactional and litigation, with a particular affinity for complex technical issues, especially in IT. 

 

Florent Mattern is also involved in all aspects of personal data protection and compliance with related applicable regulations (GDPR).

 

Prior to co-founding Blanche Avocats, Florent Mattern worked in the IP/IT departments of renowned law firms (UGGC and Aramis). Florent Mattern has also worked in a Supreme Court law firm, in the Trademarks and Designs department of Swatch Group in Switzerland, and in IP law firms in Vietnam and China.

 

Florent Mattern is a member of the Association of Friends of the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (AACEIPI).

Cécile Goy was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2021. Her practice covers all areas of intellectual property, in both advisory and litigation. She has extensive experience in complex and international trademark, copyright and patent litigation.

 

Before joining Blanche Avocats, Cécile Goy worked in the intellectual property teams of leading business law firms such as Aramis. She also worked for the Intellectual Property Division of the Paris Court of Appeal and for the R&D contracts department of Renault.

 

Cécile Goy is a member of the AAPI (French Association of IP lawyers) and the Institut Stanislas de Boufflers.
